Dr J Marc Foggin is an Honorary Research Associate in the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford. He is a conservation biologist specialised in mountain environments with a focus on complex human dimensions of environmental management and community development in China and Central Asia. His work broadly revolves around fields of sustainability science, protected and conserved areas, indigenous peoples and local communities, governance, co-management, and horizontal policy analysis.
